Although the River Ebro is renowned for its huge wells catfish, there is also some brilliant carp fishing in Caspe. The carp average is high twenties and run in the excess of 50lb. The carp are very active through out the warmer months but provide very good sport through the winter aswell. Cat Fishing SpainThe catfish feed all year round although the summer fishing is very prolific and you can be catching up to 20 cats a day. In the winter the catfish are still very catchable but not quite as hectic as the warmer months. There is still loads of cats caught in the winter so dont be put off by the colder weather.
